I am down sizing and most of my current ho rolling stock will go on shelves above a narrow single track around 3 walls of my billiards room. I seems to me that at one time you could buy plastic track with plastic rails for display purposes. Does anyone still sell it? I have thought of just cutting 2 groves into the shelves but I think track would look better. I think I will need about 125'. Any thoughts?

Welcome...

Nobody I know of sells anything like that in the quantity you would need. In the end, the price would be as much as if not more than regular track. My suggestion would be to either dado wood shelves with a 5/8" groove for your stock to set in or buy up some old brass track for next to nothing at most train shows and swap meets or one of these forums---25 cents a section is about right.
