I got a Noch Interlaken for my Christmas layout. I have buildings and the snow shed that should have snow on them. I don't want to just paint it, it won't look right. Anyone got any ideas.

Cotton balls fluffed up look good, at least I think, I mentioned this before but got no comments one way or the other.
I would not glue them on.

They sell the spray stuff but I never used it.

They do sell this stuff, I never used it either,

some plaster or hydrolcal sprinkled on top and sprayed with
water might do the trick.
of-course you might have to experiment.

ftauss;

Woodland scenics sells powdered "snow" scenery material made of finely ground Styrofoam at a typically high w/s price. If you have a piece of Styrofoam packing material and a piece of sandpaper, you could make your own. Tamiya model paint's "flat base" makes excellent "frost", or thin "snow."

good luck, have fun;
