Welcome to the site, that looks in great shape with a good price.
Someone should snatch it up fairly quick.

You planning on posting others in the future?

I would buy it but I already bought my train for the month.
And spent over my monthly limit on it. :)

A man's got to have some kind of limitations?
Or else I would buy everything I took a liking to. :p

I must add, you present a well written selling thread.
Excellent pictures and presentation.

Hello, Big Ed!!!

Thank you for your kind words. Since I finally discovered this forum, I will be posting on here in the future. I do sell on eBay; however, I can offer the locomotives for a discounted price via here due to no eBay fees.

I respect your self-restraint from buying all the trains. Something I have trouble with :). I will challenge that self-restraint by saying all prices I list are negotiable. ;)

I will mostly be posting Postwar locomotives...the next one will likely be a 2025. If you have any particular locomotive you are looking for, let me know! If I have it, ill work on it next.

Do you have the tender that goes with it?
Hello GunRunnerJohn,

I can most certainly add a tender. The 1684 came with the following tenders - 1689t,1689w,2689t,2689w. Uncatalogued....2666t & 2666w <---I do not believe I have a 2666t or 2666w

I am sure I can find one of them if you are interested with purchasing, along with the locomotive. It will just take a few hours to recondition and check all the pieces.

I never look for anything it seems to find me.
Sometimes I take a fancy to something and buy it.
It depends on how much I have spent in the month too.
I am a trainaholic. :D And proud of it. There are a few others here that are too.:D

Everyone thinking about buying, check out his links posted.
Has an excellent e bay record. Didn't check Facebook. All my family will hound me as soon as they see me on!

Great price om that 1684.
I am surprised that you didn't sell it by now.
It might be because you are new here?

You by any chance have any Lionel O71 telegraph poles?

I guess Benz told you about us?

I appreciate the shout out! Negative on the telegraph poles.

I stumbled upon this forum when I was looking for repair information on a train. I do not know Benz besides getting some good train ideas while watching his Youtube Videos :smilie_daumenpos:

I'm not personally interested, but you can be sure that's going to be one of the first questions a vast majority of potential buyers would have. I think if you pair the locomotives with matching tenders, you'll get a lot more interest.
Paired it with a 2689Tx...sold the same day :smilie_daumenpos:

If I have the tender, ill pair it with the engine from here on out.
