You may have seen my picture of my new athearn bnsf c44-9w i got off ebay. Well it hasn't come in yet but i realized it is missing alot of detail parts like steps on the front part where sand is stored and the awnings ove the engineers cab and some other things where can i find these things and what would be the best way to add them to the loco?

not sure about those specifically but details west makes a ton of detail parts....try ebay for that stuff!

You can probably get all of the parts from Athearn as well. The Genesis engine I just bought came with a detailed parts breakdown with part #.

Ok i will look into these. It came in today and actually has thecab awnings it just doesn't have steps on the sand hood
