The Spokane Portland & Seattle runs cross state service for the Northern Pacific and Great Northern but also runs local service in Eastern Washington and Idaho.

The local pulling into Yakima. Atlas F-7's and Golden Gate Heavyweights make up the consist.

That's a beautiful passenger train, Bill. Makes me wish I could jump om board and relive a ride on a similar looking one on the Milwaukee Road from my youth.

Spence, typically there are 4 to 5 consists running at any given time on the 2 main lines. There are also a couple consists sitting on the staging track for rotation. Tomorrow two of the freights running today will rotate with the two on the staging track and then will be removed from the layout and replaced with 2 new guys. The action continues on the S&Y RR.
