At key floor traffic points it take a LOT of abuse. But it's Fastrack, it bends right back into shape when required. The trolley line is the only holiday track addition. The rest stays up all year. The Christmas Village in the library is actually populated with more conventional structures throughout the year.

Thanks. While my layout is long (48'), it's very narrow (13'). With doing 1/48 O gauge, this pretty much limits me to a oval. I'd love to be able to have more variety in my track plan that a wider room would allow. But don't we always want what we don't have?

Thanks Spence. The layout has a long way to go and the basement was a ton of work to finish (I did everything but hang and tape the drywall).
