If the answer is yes then now you can take action with proof!


I find this device interesting and I am not sure why I find it interesting or what one would do with the data of speed on the layout. However, I simply report and you decide.

I use an on-line speed calculator to match locomotive speeds when pulling two trains in the same direction on the same track.

It's free and accurate.

I run DCS and just set the scale MPH on the remote. ;)
Speed...SPEED...what's that? The pride and joy of my tracks was
UNspeed...every one of my 10 DCC Bachmann diesels would lose
a race with a sick tortoise...and that's the way I programmed them. I love
to see them crawl thru the yard maze...or back the Desert Chief ever so slowly into
the passenger station. Besides, those trainmen were fairly well
up in age and could no longer keep up with anything faster than
a stroll down memory lane.
