One of my freinds was here for the afternoon working on my layout as he went to leave we noticed 2 boxes on the porch, deliveryman neglected to knock or ring the bell. We got excited as I had stuff on order I opened one box and there was the 50 ton 3 truck spectrum shay I ordered, the next box was my Prodigy Advance system while we were drooling over that the mailman come up and hands me a box, my new DPX2 Decoder that I ordered for the shay. What a day!

I have been out touch for a while. When I sold my house with my nice big 25'X25' patio I tore my layout apart saved any parts I could scrapped the rest. I thought I was through with trains forever . . . Then in January I went to the "Great American Train Show" and got bitten all over again. I haven't bought any real train stuff for years so It has been really a thrill for me. I started building model, modules, and reading up on DCC and finally buying some stuff. Is there cure out there? I mean besides my wife getting out the axe and "miniturizing" my layout, trains and all. So far she going along with it though I been building my module on her kitchen bartop counter. Keeping my fingers crossed and my lips sealed. Don't ask, don't tell policy.:D:D

Only kiddin' about the fat guy in the chimney, Don. I know the excitement of getting "new" stuff.

We really haven't had a big layout here for a bit. I keep building modules just the same. The small layout we do have just provides more stimulus to build.
