I like the track layout #29 in 101 track plans. Does anyone know where I can get a picture or description of the Nantahala & Smoky Mountain Gorge RR which this layout is patterned after. It would help with creation of the scenery.

I'd google "Nantahala & Smoky Mountain Gorge RR" and get the site and phone # of the excursion train. I'd bet they have tourist brochures showing where the train goes, with photos.

great idea. My wife and I are going to spend a 1 week vacation there in March. I hope to get a helicopter ride of the area while there.
