Wow, I'm jacked cuz I feel like I just won the Super Bowl and have been asked that glorious question "Hey Macdaddy, you just won the Super Bowl where are you going?! Man, I'm going to TRAINFEST baby!! Getting a Sunday off is like pulling teeth from a Tiger. My wife actually wants to go(her family is in Wauwatosa) to see the size of this thing. I missed the National convention of NMRA this summer so its makeup time! If any of you guys are around the Milwaukee area on Sunday 11/14 I'll be the one with a NY Giants hat on(even in the Land of Cheese heads and Frozen Tundra gotta stay true to my G-men) talking to EVERYONE! Hope to see one of you guys there!:thumbsup:

Hey TJ,
Sorry I'm not a card carrying member. That's a great idea though! Opening lines of communication with such a large organization and following would be a a coup for the Forum though NMRA has I believe their own forum. For roughly $40 a year you get monthly newsletters,access to the Kahlmbach library, local,regional and national discounts on Train Shows and Master Modelers seminars. I just don't have the time....maybe,just maybe when I retire...only 10 more years!

Yeah ... I think some friendly "hellos and introductions" to NMRA and TCA on behalf of our forum group would be quite (and mutually) beneficial.

I don't know any contact people at either, though ... if anyone here on the forum has any "ins" with NMRA and/or TCA, please let me know.

Heaven!!

Well my wife can't go to TrainFest SOOOOO....I'm going SOLO! Saved up some extra undisclosed Mad Money and taking the camera along to share with you guys. Packers are on Bye and my Giants play the Cowgirlz so the timing is perfect. OOOOHHH BABBBY I'm going to [email protected]!:laugh:
