Does anyone have any updated 2021 Trainfest news? When I google Trainfest 2021 I get directed to Trainfest 2020 - Cancelled.

I am vaccinated and most of the events including sporting events are returning to normal. Since Trainfest is held in November, I would think it would be on.

Is it "out of business "?

The MĂĽnchen Oktoberfest cancellation was announced in March for this year. Again.

It might be in Dubai this year, but I can't imagine it being anywhere close to the same celebration.

Hi Bryan, I checked the Trainfest website and the cancelled part is for 2020...the count down Clock is ticking for the November 13-14 event. I'm sure the organizers are going to keep a very close eye on COVID related flareups and use CDC guidelines for safety purposes...even with vaccinated guests. Heck this is the start of the Christmas Holiday Shopping for Toy Trains so it will be huge. I went to The Title Town Train Show in Green Bay and those folks did a great job handling the large turnout for that event. I'm getting itchy for Trainfest as it offers literally everything one could imagine. I live in NE Wisconsin so it's just a 2.5 hour cruise down I-43 for me. Try to get there just as it opens at 9:00AM.... I kill about 3-4 hours at the show and my wife kills our Credit Card doing Christmas Shopping with our daughter who takes the train up from Chicago (y) 🤣 🤣 So as long as there aren't any hangups this event is a GO!! Oh, if you go on Sunday I'll be the only guy wearing NY Giant Gear(y)🤣🤣🤣

I think it all depends on the event, location, and current regs in place. Any number of local events were cancelled last month going into July/August - hyrdroplane racing (with classic car & bike show) as the hydroplane season was cancelled, I believe Syracuse Nats was also cancelled (another classic car show).

I haven't seen much yet on the fall train shows around here as I believe everyone is holding their breath to see what happens next.
