O Scale -
Need to replace trucks on a boxcar. Old ones were plastic. Would like metal replacement trucks.

Please advise where to get and is there a specific part name or number one should look for?

The best I can do for you is give you the Lionel link. They do sell a pair of metal trucks in the 14 to 18 dollar range. A Lionel dealer would have them. You can use the site to find a dealership near you. If you have time you look at the catalogs. I thought I saw them in one issue but I don't know which one has it. Parts has listing but it's 18( for only one I think).

Maybe you can get some second hand ones at a train show or ebay.
