I suppose the proper type of light on a bridge is always on but I had a leftover flashing one and some time to do a little track powered upgrade. I found the key to getting a clean 5mm hole is using a 9/64th brad point drill bit. That plus grinding off two spots on the girder for the "conduit" (aka drinking straw) were the only modifications to the Lionel Bridge.
