Is that before and after photos or photos of the new look you are going for? If that’s the after photo you sure did a good job with the restoration.

Yes, same locomotive.

I had those decals on hand and just cut out the LVO from Valvoline. Got another one to do so I had to order more decals.

Used Micro-sol and set (in background) to set the decals. Softens them and does a good job of laying them over diecast surfaces.

Media blasted it first and added missing horns. Got a headlight lens, grab bars, and windows for it coming.

You really should be using LED's, instead of incandescents. Same effort to install but should last forever.
Agreed, but a few months ago I won on ebay a lot of various lamps for buildings, street lights, etc. including a bunch of grain of wheat and pea lamps. Not my first choice but what I had on hand.
