Wanted to share something I use to hold train cars and locomotives while I work on them. It holds them delicately upside down with no damage and a firm hold. It is Aura-Flex acoustic foam. I have attached some pictures.

Same idea as the foam cradles, just cheaper. Looks like it works well.

Probably not too good for electrics. A special holder is available for those.
