Hello all. I finally decided exactly what I want to model. 1860's mid west US civil war era. The problem is , I do not have a steam engine or the correct passenger coaches so I would like to trade some N scale things for the above mentioned. I understand that steam loco's are worth more than the old diesel stuff that I have to offer but I think I can make it worth-while for someone. First what I am looking for: a DC steam loco and tender in good running condition (4-4-0, 4-8-4, 2-6-0 etc. does not have to be era exact). A working light, smoke, and sound are NOT necessary, just needs to run in forward and reverse smoothly with couplers. I would also prefer two short , old time, wood sided passenger coaches. If you have a loco and tender but do not have the coaches, then I would keep the two coaches that I am offering for trade and swap the rest of the lot that I have for your loco and tender. If interested, PM me with your email address and I will respond as soon as possible. Thanks.

Upload error?
Picture too large?

A copy and paste I save for how I upload pictures.

What I do to post a picture,
1,When your typing your thread, look up top & click on the paper clip.

2,That opens a box then click browse.

3,That will open another box find your picture where ever it is in your computer. (say downloads, camera, files wherever your picture is.)
When you find the picture click on it then click open, it will then be in your box where you clicked browse.

4, Then click upload, wait to make sure it uploads. Then minimize that upload box.

5, After it uploads go back to your post box where you are typing and click the paper clip again and click insert attachments.
(if you forget to go back your pictures will just show as a clickable link instead of a picture in the post. Go back and click the paper clip again after you upload and click insert all or if you only have one picture click on the link there a second time.)
Note, if the picture won't upload most likely it is too big.

Your picture should be in the thread.

Go in advanced mode when you post, if you can't see the paper clip I am talking about let me know you will have to change something in your CP an easy fix.

Thanks Big Ed. I will see if I can add some pics to my post.
BUMP THIS.......for you.

What was wrong? Pictures too large?

Pictures came out fine, may I make a suggestion?

The counter top clashes with the trains somewhat.
I think something white, like a white sheet or white poster board would make the trains pop out better.
It would also take the flash glare away.

Those are fine but see the trains that are on the file card?
You can see them better.

Don't change what you have but in the future it may be better.

Then again you don't have to, it is just a suggestion. :)

Thanks Big Ed. I will keep that in mind for future posts. Looks like I will probably be advertising on eBay. (No bites yet)...
The main problem that I had with posting pics was the attachment "paperclip" was missing from the message header. After you replied yesterday, the attachment paperclip just appeared.:dunno:

Well if you want to sell them instead start a sell thread.
Might be better then a trade thread.

Read selling rules. You must have an asking price.
You can add or best offer.

Or just add prices to this thread, easier.
But edit your title to say For Sale.
