i don't get it. both up and down lines are streight by the ruller.
yet there are gaps near the crossing, but only on one side... how is this possible? POS snap switches came so nice together ith 25 degree cross in Anyrail...
Normally you isolate loops. I think it is natural to have a gap to isolate the track electrically. So you may not want to use the metal coupler.
You don't need to in DCC. You can grind the other pieces with a dremel cutting wheel to make the exact fit. I am not sure of the advantage for isolating track in DCC. You may not always run a DCC engine.
well, i got 17 turnouts with the entire deal, out of which only 4 are "custom" (as i anderstand those are better then the snap switches somewhat).
so i'm using what i already have.
