Hello all,
I have seen pre-1955 Chicago & North Western passenger cars painted in UP colors.
I've seen post 1955 Milwakee Road passenger cars painted in UP colors.
I've seen Wabash passenger cars and oddly enough an HO scale Pennsylvainia (not sure if it was prototype or not)

Was curious if anyone has any other "roads" to add to this.

Hope everyone is safe and well,
all my best,
Eric

This from Utah Rails:
A total of 92 passenger cars of other railroads are known to have been painted in Union Pacific's yellow and gray paint scheme. These cars include:
  • 47 Chicago and North Western Cars
  • 11 Milwaukee Road Cars
  • 3 New York Central Cars
  • 6 Pennsylvania Cars
  • 19 Southern Pacific Cars
  • 6 Wabash Cars.
  • The website has detailed descriptions of all these cars which were in transcontinental passenger service.

Wow, I had no idea that there were that many different roads that painted in pool colors.
Very interesting. May be fun to model a few of the variants.
