Looks to be from the 70s/early 80s, probably Hornby or a related company, that's what those couplers lead me to believe. Welcome to the forum, hope that helps or at least points you in the right direction.

Ditto on the timeline. May be later as some manufacturers, Model Power, and others, used the same configuration well into the'90's.
