Volphin, glad you were able to get yours to work since a few of the reviewers I've read claim they can't get it to record. Bought one anyhow from Kohl's at what I think was a decent price of $119 plus also receiving $20 Kohl's cash with it the price actually ended up being $99 with free delivery. I sure hope mine records and works as well as yours but I won't know that until the 25th since it's wrapped up as a Christmas gift from my wife.My PE Trolley has 6 stops, but this one is my favorite.
Where does your trolley stop?

They can be a little finicky, but learning how to work the announcement track is key. Get as close as you can to the mic, which is the small pea sized circle. Push the button for 1 second, until the light glows steady. You are live: record your 15 seconds of audio or less. Want to erase and start over? Hold the button until the LED flashes fast. Then press for 1 second and begin again. Ya can't break it, so trial and error is ok.Volphin, glad you were able to get yours to work since a few of the reviewers I've read claim they can't get it to record. Doug that trolley looks like some I've seen in G Scale! VERY nice sir.
Thanks for the tips, Volphin. They're definitely appreciated. Btw, if it doesn"t violate forum rules please post a link for those prerecorded messages you mentioned? They definitely sound, excuse the pun, intriguing. They can be a little finicky, but learning how to work the announcement track is key. The "transformer" if you can call it that, only puts out 11 to 11.95 volts DC. Worthless. Attach the unit to a real power source. These trolleys like 12v-14v and clean track. I let mine stutter for 10-15 minutes back and forth at 15v to wear the wheels and rollers in before they are reliable at lower voltages.
Additional announcement tracks can be found on sale now at 39 bucks online.
The audio isn't pre recorded. It's me. LOLThanks for the tips, Volphin. They're definitely appreciated. Btw, if it doesn"t violate forum rules please post a link for those prerecorded messages you mentioned? They definitely sound, excuse the pun, intriguing.
