Has anyone used superglue on loose white walls on the engines wheels?

I have, it works to remount the tires on the white plastic insulators.

I have a 1948 302 that the wheel has come loose. I plan on using super glue.

I use different ways to attach the loose white insulators.. If I have the entire wheel set broken down, I use JB Weld for a permanent fix. If I want to repair the insulator without taking the wheel off the axle and re-quartering, I use CA, (super glue), but in a gel form.
