Only if you planted each blade individually using your fingers, no tweezers.

No I used two applicators although without proof I just use the second one empty to produce a higher static charge with it on and connected if you will to the area of interest. I think it works better anyway. But yeah applicator and about 3 mixes of grass at different lengths from about 1.5 to 6mm. It's a pita but I got ok at it for basic coverage.
