Okay, so here I go again on the Kitmaster (don't roll your eyes, this is a good idea); I have a plan, to use chassies from inexpensive SD locomotives, and the bodies of Dapol/Kitmaster Deltics, to add a splash of color to my fleet. I saw it in the January 1965 issue of Model Railroader, and since they still make them (Dapol does in the UK), I think I could do the same. One problem though... I CAN'T FIND ANYBODY WHO SELLS THEM IN THE STATES!!!: -

So can anybody help me find where I can get the Deltic, or any other Dapol/Kitmaster kits, here in the USA, without the use of EBAY (heavy emphsis on "NO EBAY!!!")? Any help is most welcome. Heavenly Father bless all for the help. - :)

I'll think about the offer Berlin, but I also want to find a retailer in the States too. Meanwhile, I may have some new back story soon. Thanks! - :) I'll also try to send a scan of the page to you too.

Kewel, Ill look and try my best to help ya...can't wait to hear the back story, I may rewrite mine a bit for my road too once I get some plans worked out for my layout...just need to get off my bum and get the office organized to get things rolling!!

EDIT these may help and some info for ya

These models were originally made by The Rosebud Doll company and marketed under the name Rosebud Kitmaster ltd. There were 34 kits of Loco's & carriages in the range, Production started in 1959. Kitmaster produced a great deal more locos than Airfix ever did when they acquired the Kitmaster range in 1962.
