What an excellent teaching video! By showing closely how you did all those things, and didn't speak one word, any of us could likely build a similar layout with great results. Really well done, and a beautiful scene.
One question, where you laid the adhesive and then sprinkled the road and snow...did you vacuum up the excess, brush it off, or did it all stick?
