Its really made to run on my (yet to be built)wire-guided country highway, but the truck itself runs fine, but poorly in tight tunnels and around curves too tight for it.

Yaayy! He DID get thru the tunnel!! Ya, they run over the curb on every tight corner in Memphis, also... 😄 It's reality!!

If the "rack" was behind the wheels, you could move the magnet back yet keep the same length "lever" - pivot torque. The front of the vehicle would track closer to the wire's path and reduce the tendency to "cut the corners". Or I've had one too many :)
