Anyone here ever build a wooden kit like these?

I know I've been working on my tiny n-gauge layout for ever, and another project is exactly what I do not need, but the idea of building a wooden ship caught my fancy. So looking at my local hobby store I cam across one of these kits. A good quality wooden kit, but in train form - perfect!
I just might pick it up pretty soon, as finding US distributors of the products seem to be a bit of a task. The only one at the hobby store was the red 'Cibeles'.
thoughts?? anyone?? any experience with it or similar??
