So the 6656 stock car I posted about in the "Get Anything New" thread is actually in great shape and I am finally going to keep something that I bought off eBay... On the other hand, that reefer car, it never happened :sly:

The stock car is a nice piece. I enjoy mine. But the great train flip crusader is actually going to keep something? Somehow, I will wait that one out.
Try looking at a barrel car. I haven't got one, but my brother has the orange model. They are just as much fun as the reefer.
I visited Frank the Trainman and got an 800 series flatcar and a log dump car 3451. It's actually raining here and still dark so no pictures yet.This is the first time I have actually seen it rain in California not that drissil stuff they call rain but the good old NE type where you actually get wet.

Train Fun in the Sun

I got this for 2 bucks. It needs a little work. Besides I burn easily.

I have been here a week already. I didn't feel the quake, I was up in LA that day. VIsited Reed Hobby today. They have a 1668 for sale, (looks good) and some AF nonworking train for 10 bucks. It was missing a brush. Itwas a five digit number 14O something. Those AF all look the same.

All my friends down in San Diego had scrambled eggs for breakfast the other day. Shake rattle and roll!

Are you interested in the 1668? I just bought one, as you may recall. There's another nice one that was listed on ebay, but it erroneously has 1688 name plates on its side. Another "late in the day on Friday at the Lionel factory" screw up, maybe? What are they asking for the one out there?
