I am looking for someone who can build custom radius turn outs for me in HO scale.

This is one of those things which I feel I am not in the position to try myself. And would rather have the confidence knowing they are done right, than done by me.

I need Left and Right radius turnouts

Code 83 HO
Outer Radius is 22in (main track)
Inner Radius is 18in (for the turnout)
Ideally as short as possible

This portion of the track is horse shoe shape squeezed in a 4ft x 6ft piece of lumber (48in x 72in). The turnouts will be going to my staging yard. Assuming the half turn is broken into 4 segments, I would like to have 3 segments at least contain 1 turnout.

If I could squeeze more in those 3 segments, that would be even better.

Someone here hand-lays their own HO turnouts, but can't think of who that is right now.

I think there’s actually several members who make their own turnouts. You might want to re-post this in the HO section. It would probably get more views there.

If I understand correctly, it will not 'fit'.

You want three yard tracks curving to meet three curved turnouts inside a 22" radius half circle. You could make one curved turnout feed a 18"R inner loop, but the next one will need to be 15-16R, not 18.
