National Take a Model Train to Work day has been a thing in the US since the early 2000's.

 

I would have loved to take a model railroad to work if i was into trains back when i did work.
The wife still has a job,i might try convincing her to take part in that

I actually built an HO-scale diorama one year and took it in, just for fun. One of my colleagues was also into model trains, so we each had one to show off. A lot of people were very interested in it.

 

Some of the guys at her work like to see my trains.
One guy has 3d printed a couple things for me
Im thinkin maybe a z scale circle powered by a batterie
I have till next November to get it together, ill have to run it by the SWHMBO to see what she thinks
