I may have to repaint these so they do not look plastic. Will have to wait and see them.

 

I do not see where it says DC but most are. All my LED building lights and street lights are powered from a 12VDC source. There are adjustable regulators for some of the lights because they were way too bright at 12V. The under shed roof passenger station lights are at 8V for a realistic appearance.

 

They seem cheap enough, look good too..

 

I got my lamp posts today. They are ok, I like the size. There is a couple things that could be better.
One, the globes are glued on. Not easy to change an LED. 2 of the posts the globe had come off in shipping. Might be able to pry a globe off. I was hoping the globes screwed off.
The second thing is the little pegs that a banner would hang from are fragile. 4 of them were broke off the post during shippng. They broke off clean with the posts. I might just break them all off. They are not needed.
Other than that they are very sturdy. The old brass AF posts are nice, but figure what 20 of them would cost.
In the next few days I will try to get some pics of them by some track and a passenger car so you can see there size better. Maybe have one or two lit.
One more thing. They will have to be glued to layout. Over all I like them.
