I started a plan a few years back, to gather up every Lionchief set ever made, and display them all in my train room as a sort of museum I suppose. But, with how hard they are to find even just a few years after production ends, I decided it's just not worth the effort. So I'm selling the 50~ sets I managed to accumulate here. You're welcome to buy as many or as few as you'd like.
Each set is $260. My prices are firm, I am not interested in trades. I'm in Portland OR for local pickup, or I'm happy to ship. If you want to save a bit of money (not much on a single set, but if you're buying more than one, you'll save a lot), I'm happy to take it out of the original box and just ship you the actual train itself.
In keeping with my goal of displaying the trains themselves, I handed the track/transformer from each set right back into my hobby shop, for credit towards the next set. So to be clear, these items are brand new, never run, never even taken out of their packaging, but they have no Fastrack or transformers, just the manual, train and remote. In other words, just the stuff that's actually valuable. I want to be upfront about that, and that's the main reason the prices are lower than what you'd pay in a shop. If you really need Fastrack, and I don't know why you ever would need more O36 curves, every hobby shop I've ever visited has buckets of the stuff they can't sell, I'm sure they'd love for you to relieve them of it!
