Nice Bonnets Bill. I like the yellow and blue bonnets. C Ro still has the Lionel F7AA set in stock and I am thinking about getting them. The MTH version looks a little nicer with the silver trucks. Nothing a little paint won't fix. Are your passenger cars MTH Premier 18"?

Hi Gary, yep, the 18" passenger cars are from the MTH Gold Bonnet set.

 

Very nice. Now you need some Black ones to make the photo complete.

 

Hi Spence, I do have a set of Lionel Black Bonnet AA Alcos that was manufactured for the LCCA. I had forgot about them, will have to unpack em and have them join the Red, Yellow, Gold, and Blue bonnets.

 

I have a bizarre mind, I guess. I was looking at those cool pictures of your red and yellow bonnet locos, and thinking about Spence's comment about black bonnet, and all that I could think was that silly old phrase about how to tell a coral snake from a common milk-snake "Red and yellow kill a fellow . . . "
Very interesting how the yellow bonnet locos looks so good with the gold bonnet cars by the way . . . .
