So i know liquid nails is typically a done deal after you use it to glue something. I unfortunately used it to glue my foam on my plywood a while back and now i need that foam to be glued somewhere else.

Does anybody have any suggestions has how i could maybe remove the foam from the plywood without destroying it. I would need some way to get in between the foam and the plywood to dissolve or remove or whatever the solution would be of the liquid nails.

I've done this procedure before but with a much smaller section of foam and was only mostly successful in keeping it intact, in which I just shimmied a small blade in between the foam and the plywood to cut away at the bond.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Scrape what you can off and then use a surform file or even a belt sander. Note that none of this is going to be quick or easy. If you really need, or simply wish, to retain much or all of the under-the-foam-and-adhesive surface, you'll have to take your time and be patient....and careful...especially with the belt sander.

Search out some post that use the chrome wire. They heat it and use it as a foam cutter. That would save the surface. You would have to make the cutter to a desired width.
Basically make your own foam cutter with chrome wire and a power source.
