I bought TWO NEW Model Power N scale traffic lights from TWO DIFFERENT hobby shops. BOTH had the same problem; not worth returning. The red light on both got VERY hot and quickly went out. No problem with the yellow and green lights. The lights don't unscrew or pull out for replacing. What do you think caused the problem, the bulb or the product wiring? Any other brand of N scale traffic lights?

I'm guessing that the bulbs are actually LED's, and it sounds like the red LED didn't have current limiting.
What's the exact model of the traffic light? Have you contacted Model Power?
