Thanks T-Man. I'm waiting to hear from Jeff at Train Tender to get some dimensions from from part number 385e-36n. I measured the headlight ring from my 263e ( original Ring) The ring measured .5 in (12.7 mm) inside dia and the length was .2 in (5.57 mm) and it fit the boiler front just right. I think the standard gauge ring may work but have none to measure. Just don't know how I would grind .1 in off the boiler front without gaffing it up. Funny how the littlest of things are giving me the biggest problems. Thanks again y'all.

Just dropping an update on the 255E project. I 'm still waiting word from my local car shop when the paint I ordered to be matched up with my engine color (original boiler) so all painted parts will match as close as possible. I had to luck on the boiler headlight ring to fit. I went to a couple of shows and purchased a few but no luck all too small. I guess I'll have to figure some way to grind down the boiler front so the rings fit. I'm open to any suggestions or ideas. Sorry for the long delay to update everyone but I've been taking care of my 89 year old Mother who suffers from dementia and it has taking up a lot of my time as of late. I hope 2021 will be better than 2020 was.
